Summary

Navartis have been exclusively retained by a well-recognised firm to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Technician into their current team, based from their Hamilton Depot.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide maintenance services of rolling stock – by performing tasks such as year heavy maintenance/overhaul and using written instructions to perform modifications
  • Attending breakdowns/provision of emergency technical support
  • Completion of maintenance exams
  • Carry out electrical sub-system modifications
  • Work within the wider team to provide assistance on rolling stock maintenance
  • Provide general office support with maintenance related procedures and activities

Seeking candidates with:

  • Experience in a role within an electrical discipline
  • Competency in working from electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
  • Ability to perform fault finding on mechanical interfaces and electrical controls
  • Organised work ethic E.G able to complete accompanying maintenance records
  • Strong communication skills – able to liaise with various parties such as clients, suppliers and contractors
  • Previous experience working with rolling stock or freight wagons

Package on offer:

  • Salary of up to £36,500 (dependant on experience)
  • 35 days annual leave
