Programme Manager

Job Description

I have an oppurtunity to join an established mobile telecoms infrastructure provider as a Programme Manager. This role is a flexible working role, however there will be a requirement to attend one of their offices in Birmingham or Scotland (near Glasgow).

Programme Manager Role:

  • Responsibility over a large volume of ongoing projects across the clients customer base.
  • Supervise activities of PM's & PMO Workstreams.
  • Full project forecasting and customer reporting.
  • Contract SLA Management.
  • Management of in house database & work flow tools.
  • Reporting to senior management of programme finance, KPIs and run rates.
  • Monitor, evaluate, scope and implement process improvements.
  • Spot and highlight potential delivery risks
  • Manage these potential risks throughout the delivery process
  • Provide sound and expert advice for the acquisition and build teams in alignment with wider business functions on acquisition, design and build matters.


Requirements:

  • Degree level or equivalent, ideally in a property related discipline.
  • MRICS, Prince2 or APM Qualification.
  • Car owner with a full valid drivers licence.
  • 5 years' experience delivering and managing large scale telecommunication roll-out programmes.
  • Experience of supply chain management.
  • Team leadership
  • Attitude open to supporting others
  • Extensive knowledge of delivery within the UK mobile telecoms sector.
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Use of Excel for data analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of current legislation in the sector.
  • Confident reporting to internal and external stakeholders, regardless of seniority.
  • Excellent communicator
