I have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineer to join a forward thinking, future ready rolling stock business who are passionate about delivering the best possible service and highest quality parts to their customers.


They have recently taken on a renewed focus within the rail industry and have now opened their fantastic, state of the art new centre of excellence facility where they provide a wide range of services to meet the requirements of UK rail which include Manufacturing and Supply, Refurb, Overhaul & Repair, Site Support, Project Management and Reverse Engineering.

Key responsibilities for this Technical Engineer role:


- Lead and support reverse engineering activities.
- Lead and support controlled strip and assembly activities.
- Review specifications and technical instructions in line with working processes.
- Produce BoM's based on specifications, customer requests and internal working practices.
- Work proactively with customers to solve engineering issues.
- Lead and support new product integration projects.

Experience required for this Technical Engineer role:


- Rail Engineering background
- HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience with SolidWorks - desirable
- Working knowledge of reverse engineering and producing repair procedures.
- Experience of producing BoM's.

Package offered for this Technical Engineer role:


- Salary £30,000 - £40,000
- 25 days annual leave + BH's
