This is a great opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to join a well-established Telecommunications company in the UK.
Your role as a Solution Architect will be working on all aspects of the Solution Design and collaborating with Internal and External Stakeholders to deliver major transformation projects. You will play a pivotal role in providing successful outcomes in line with the company’s development plans.
Key responsibilities for this Solution Architect role:
- Define, design and document IT business solutions.
- Ensure that the solution architecture is compliant and aligned to the published Enterprise Architecture blueprints and product, technology, and infrastructure roadmaps.
- Review and approve design artefacts for the IT business solution (i.e. Functional Designs, Technical Designs, Interface Specifications, Data Mappings etc.), liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
- Engage in Pre-Sales Activities and Create Propositions to Clients and C-Level Stakeholders, including creating Proof of Concepts (PoC).
Requirements for this Solution Architect role:
- 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- Proven experience in large scale Enterprise Architecture, ideally in a Telecommunications environment.
- Strong Knowledge of Public Cloud (Azure, AWS)
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies and Project Management Frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Relevant certification in enterprise methodology (e.g. TOGAF, eTOM, SiD etc)
- Experience with SaaS CRM platforms.
