As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead electrical building services design from concept to handover, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support junior talent, all while pushing innovation, reliability, and sustainability across mission-critical environments.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, leading electrical building services design end-to-end
-
Acting as a key liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and PMs
-
Driving innovative electrical solutions across lighting, power distribution, life safety systems, and critical power
-
Producing tender packages, design reports, load calculations, and technical specifications
-
Overseeing site delivery, compliance, quality checks, and commissioning
-
Mentoring junior/graduate engineers and shaping electrical design standards
Tech skills they'd love
-
Electrical building services design (lighting, power, fire alarm, security, emergency systems, etc.)
-
Knowledge of IEC, IS, BS, EN regulations + familiarity with CIBSE & IET codes

Software experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, Bluebeam, etc.

Experience producing electrical load calculations + system coordination
-
Awareness of sustainable design + low-energy electrical solutions
Ideal background
-
6–8+ years in electrical building services engineering
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
-
Chartered or working towards chartership
-
Proven experience leading MEP/electrical design projects

Exposure to commercial, life sciences, healthcare or data centre projects
