As they continue to go from strength to strength, this contractor is seeking an experienced Planner to join their team. In this role, the suitable candidate will be able to ensure the successful planning and execution of construction projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks. This role will be based in Galway.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for creating and maintaining Contract/Project Programmes and providing monthly progress reports.

· Develop and update project schedules, collaborating with project managers to establish realistic timelines and identify critical path activities.

· Work closely with project managers, engineers, and team members to gather information for schedule development. Communicate schedule-related information effectively to stakeholders.

· Conduct risk assessments for project schedules, propose mitigation strategies, and develop contingency plans to anticipate and address potential delays.

· Prepare and present regular reports on project schedules, progress, and issues. Provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Key Requirements

· 3rd Level degree in the relevant discipline

· Experience within the construction industry

· Experience with previous contractors is desirable.

· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Package Offered

· €50,000 – €60,000, depending on experience
