Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: West Suffolk / East Anglia
Day rate: £200 - £250p/d CIS
Start: January 2023
30 – 40 hours per week
A fantastic opportunity for a Project Coordinator has arisen within a Tier 1 Contractor on decommissioning works.
Key responsibilities for this Project Coordinator role:
• Delivering a specific area of the project (to be determined based on experience)
• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Interacting with contractors
• Interface with personnel on the project team
• Ensure all projects are delivered within the timescales and budgets and to the required quality
• Supporting the Project Manager in development and monitoring of progress
• Attending stakeholder meetings, supporting forward planning in readiness for project delivery
• Attending walkdowns and working closely with the sub-contractors ensuring enabling documentation is in place for projects to progress into the construction phase
• Leading progress meetings
• Liaising with the site delivery team
• Identifying and managing specifically those areas that represent significant risk to the Project Work in a highly regulated environment
Experience/qualifications required for this Project Coordinator role:
• Educated to O/GSCE Level standard or equivalent including English and Maths
• Previous Document Control experience
• Working knowledge of electronic management systems i.e. SharePoint, Workspace and Asite (training will be provided).
• Excellent communication skills including written English.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Full Driving Licence and access to a Car
