Position: Packet Core Engineer
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Role Overview:
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our client's Packet Core team, focusing on testing and automation within their core network infrastructure. As a consultant, you will collaborate closely with the internal teams, contributing your expertise in Packet Core technologies and Test Automation to drive efficiency and reliability in their operations.
Key Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in the Packet Core domain, preferably as a Packet Core Integration or Test Engineer. This includes in-depth knowledge of EPC (Evolved Packet Core) and 5GC (5th Generation Core) technologies.
- Proficient in developing and executing test cases using automation frameworks tailored for Packet Core systems. This includes scripting languages, as well as knowledge of automation tools specific to networking environments.
- The candidate should have practical experience implementing and managing CI/CD/CT pipelines for Packet Core systems. This involves setting up automated build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates.
- Strong familiarity with testing platforms like Spirent Landslide & iTest.
- They should possess the skills necessary to troubleshoot issues, perform system configurations, and resolve integration challenges within Packet Core environments.
