Managing Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a well known main contractor and work within the commercial team on large Civils/Highways related project within the Yorkshire Region.

The company is an award-winning main contractor who are market leaders in the infrastructure sector. Your role as Managing Quantity Surveyor will part of the Commercial Team being responsible for controlling and reporting on expenditure from procurement to final account.

Key responsibilities for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role:
- Forecasting
- Deliver works within time frames and budget
- Monthly CVR
- Liaise with client/Client facing role
- Sub contract payments
- Prepare reports and invoices
- Cost/value reconciliation
- Agree and input progress
- Attend site based project meetings
- Mentor Junior members of the team



Experience required for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role:

- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working on Civil Engineering/Infrastructure projects
- Ideally Highways experience
- Qualified to a minimum level of HNC in Quantity Surveying
- RICS, ICES or CIOB

- Valid UK Driving licence

Package offered for this Managing Quantity Surveyor role:

- Up to £72,000GBP plus car or car allowance along with other benefits
