Position: Maintenance Manager
Company: Main Contractor / Construction
Location: Worcestershire, with travel to sites
Salary: £55,000 - £60000 plus company vehicle, fuel card, laptop
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a family run construction company based in the Worcestershire area that is growing year on year.
They are looking to strengthen their delivery team with the addition of a Maintenance Manager. The successful individual will have in depth knowledge of the construction industry, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to problem solve and provide upfront solutions. The position will involve site travel and projects range from £1m to £20m.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager / Finishings Manager / Clerk of Works would be ideal.
- Trades background preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written with an ability to communicate internally across teams, and externally with clients/supply chain.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of IT skills, including the use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to research a problem and provide plausible solutions.
- Quick to deal with issues whilst using a considered approach.
- Understand the impact of cost and be mindful of spend.
- Happy to travel (throughout the Midlands, South East, South West and Wales).
Qualifications / Other:
- SMSTS essential
- First Aid at Work desirable
- Full UK Driving licence essential.
- Site Management Experience desirable
