LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing company within the transmission & distribution sector, who have been successful in winning many major projects within the UK.
Your role as Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for managing the substations design team, under the high voltage discipline.

Key responsibilities for this Lead Design Engineer role:
- Cast a technical eye on projects.
- Manage the HV substations design team.
- Manage project resourcing, recruitment, business development & over all team management.
Experience required for this Lead Design Engineer role:
- Must have substation design experience.
- Must have experience with National Grid and/or SSE.
- Proven experience in team management.
- BEng/BSc in electrical engineering
- Preferably masters degree.
Package offered for this Lead Design Engineer role:
- £75,000 - £90,000 + package (this can me increased for right candidate)
Various locations - Hybrid role
