Junior Construction manager to join a reputable Residential Developer in County Kildare, projects are based predominantly betwen Newbridge and Naas so travel will be required.

Ideal for a Junior Engineer or Junior Site Manager possessing 1-2 years of experience in Main Contracting within ROI, this role presents a pathway towards advancing into professional site management or project management roles.
The Role
- Supervise daily project management activities and oversee on-site manpower, including direct staff, trades, and subcontractors across multiple sites.
- Provide reporting and assistance to the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Contracts Manager.
- Participate in meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew, and Senior Management to provide project progress updates.
- Maintain and update the site diary.
- Address and manage any unexpected delays that may arise during project execution.
- Interpret drawings to ensure accurate completion of works.
- Monitor on-site operations to ensure work quality, timely completion, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Ensure company compliance with regulations such as BACRR, H&S, and administrative procedures, and maintain records of site performance and progress, ensuring adherence to on-site policies.
Requirements for this Junior Construction role
- Hold a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 1-2 years of experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.
- Demonstrate confidence in leading labor forces, motivation to achieve goals, eagerness to progress, and commitment to company growth.
- Strong proficiency in IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite including Project.
- Must have full EU Driving License
- Eligible to work within the EU
Salary for this Junior Construction role is between €45,000 - €55,000 DOE (Negotiable dependent upon experience), with a bonus scheme, car allowance, and additional benefits.
