SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Location: Manchester
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Package inc 10% Car Allowance

The Opportunity:
My client is an award-winning contractor who are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join their Northwest region, the ideal candidate will be well placed for Manchester, where they have recently acquired new luxury high end offices based in the heart of the city.
They are a highly successful, established, cash rich contractors and have a strong reputation as a great employer who work on New Build Industrial and Commercial projects valued from £10 million to £90 million.
Experience working on Industrial schemes would be desirable for this position but not essential and the successful candidate will have delivered projects of circa £20m in value.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for providing clear leadership and direction to the construction team
- Generally, be engaged on medium to large scale projects to ensure levels of supervision are sufficient to meet the project challenge
- The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on Health and Safety
- Oversee all areas of the project however at times focus will be required on key sites or packages that are not meeting the project objectives or where improvement is needed.
Requirements:
- CSCS: Valid CSCS BLACK card required
- Qualifications: SMSTS and first aid at work required
- Relevant Experience: minimum 5 years as a Site / Senior Site Manager / Construction Manager
- Previous experience working on industrial projects.
- CIOB (ideally)
- HNC level qualification
- Main Contractor background - Essential
