The Role
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in our Huntingdon office, working closely alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) who will provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects and commercial activities, enabling you to build a strong foundation in quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Supporting the preparation of valuations and final accounts
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and management
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
- Supporting the administration of contracts and ensuring compliance
- Contributing to risk management and value engineering exercises
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A team player with a professional attitude
- Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
