Quantity Surveyor
Summary
Due to an extensive order book for 2026 & 2027 a successful construction firm delivering projects nationally in heavily regulated environments are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Birkenhead.
Working on projects including EHV ducting and cable installation, Substations, Enabling/Remedial works and all aspects of drainage works.
As a Quantity Survey you will be responsible for
- Procurement and tendering including drafting subcontracts and managing procurement schedules.
- Cost forecasting, margin improvement, and risk/opportunity registers
- Commercial management - Preparing cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and contract administration
- Handling valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
Quantity Surveyor specification
- 1 / 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor working in a construction, civil engineering setting.
- Ideally degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar or a minimum HNC in Commercial / Quantity Surveying.
- An understanding of NEC contracts
A competitive salary of around £40,000 - £45,000 Is on offer plus car allowance and package plus dedicated training and development and defined career path.
