Function Safety Engineer
We are currently working with a independent certification and inspection company who have a strong focus in the railway, rail systems and rolling stock sectors. They have a strong presence in Germany and across the DACH and wider European regions.
They provide assessment and certification activities to the railway sector and are currently recruiting for experts within the field of railway systems and rolling stock functional safety.
About the role and requirements;
- Review of Risk And Hazard Analysis within Functional Safety for Railway Systems and Rolling Stock.
- Solid process understanding of Functional Safety with regards to software and control technology.
- Customer Audits / Reporting
- Strong knowledge of Functional Safety within the Rail Sector.
- Knowledge of the relevant standards regarding functional safety e.g. EN 5012x, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO 178B
- Fluent knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- Relevant Educational background
