Location: Manchester
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Package inc 10% Car Allowance

The Opportunity:
My client is an award-winning contractor who are seeking a Estimator to join their Northwest region, the ideal candidate will be well placed for Manchester, where they have recently acquired new luxury high end offices based in the heart of the city.
They are a highly successful, established, cash rich contractors and have a strong reputation as a great employer who work on New Build Industrial and Commercial projects valued from £10 million to £90 million.
Experience working on Industrial schemes would be desirable for this position but not essential and the successful candidate will have delivered projects of circa £20m in value.
My client would also consider an Assistant Estimator.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Leading on relevant tenders, process and resources with a high degree of skill.
- Identify opportunities to add value and to mitigate against risks.
- Lead the pricing process and promote integration of disciplines through accurate reporting and regular internal communication and feedback on relevant tenders.
- Any other duties consistent with the role of Estimator as may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction or Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a Junior Estimator within the industrial sector.
- Great IT skills and proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Awareness of and adherence to company policies and health and safety requirements
