EHS Advisor | Blanchardstown

Job Description

We are working with a leading project delivery engineering company who is actively seeking an experinced EHS Advisor to enhance their team for a site based role in North Dublin.

As a Safety Advisor, you'll collaborate closely with the EHS Manager, contributing to diverse projects for our esteemed clientele. While centered in Blanchardstown, this role will involve frequent trips to project sites across Dublin, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work experience.

 
 

Responsibilities for this EHS Advisor Role

  • Delivering top-tier safety management services for our client
  • Assisting the safety manager in delivering safety services
  • On-site coordination of the PSCS/Safety advisor role for multiple projects across Ireland, including:
  • Attending site meetings
  • Developing method statements and risk assessments
  • Managing daily permits to work
  • Overseeing daily safe plan of actions
  • Proactively monitoring safety performance on-site
  • Pre-qualifying contractors
  • Implementing and monitoring site safety management systems
  • Coordinating training
  • Implementing our client's quality, safety, and business systems
  • Providing weekly reports to the EHS manager on project progress, key safety KPIs, and customer feedback
  • Delivering operational safety management systems and coordinating safety engineering projects with our client's team

Skills/Experience Required for this EHS Advisor Role

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage, Drinks, and/or Pharma industry
  • Health & Safety Qualification (Minimum level 7) required; Manual Handling Instructor training, VDU Assessor Training & First Aid would be advantageous
  • Experience in PSCS roles
  • Experience in the development, implementation & auditing of Safety management systems would be beneficial
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite & phone-based applications
  • Ability to work independently, plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Full clean EU Driver’s license
