This is a great opportunity for an experienced Build Manager to join one of the UK's leading wireless telecoms infrastructure service providers.
The role is predominantly home based with visits to site and visits to either Diseworth or Byfleet for team/client meetings.
In your role as Build Manager you will be supporting the project delivery teams by managing the end to end tasks across all build activities, ensuring health & safety compliance and quality standards are adhered to. You will need to liaise with other teams and departments across the business including programming, delivery and HSEQ to deliver in a cost effective and timely manner.
The company have unrivalled depth across all avenues of network deployment including site finding, acquisition, town & country planning, estate management, design, build and project management. Projects will vary, from adding new technologies to existing sites, to installation of new sites in a specific geographical area or UK wide.
Key responsibilities for this Build Manager role:
- Ensuring sites are built to programme and budget
- Checking and auditing of subcontractors work on site
- Highlighting and monitoring variations to discuss with the relevant department
- Providing information for quarterly departmental meetings
- Undertaking ad-hoc visits to sites to inspect H&S, quality and progress
Experience required for this Build Manager role:
- 6 years minimum telecoms sites management experience (essential)
- Excellent personnel skills with previous experience in leading, coaching & developing (essential)
- Suitably trained to execute duties relating to design & construction (essential)
- Proven experience in construction site management (essential)
- Full clean driving licence (essential)
- Degree in civils or building, SMSTS, NRSWA, CPCS (beneficial)
Package offered for this Build Manager role:
- Up to £55k p/a dependent on experience
