Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering/ Water - Surrey
Location : Surrey
Engagement : Ltd company outside IR35
Rate : £200 - £230 per day
This is a great long-term opportunity to work with a key a client within the Civil Engineering sector on works such as Water and Heavy Civil Engineering in the Surrey area on a major project.
Our client is looking for a Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering sector to be involved with assisting the claims process for value recovery and compensation events.
Key responsibilities for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:
Reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor
Able to work as part of a team on a specific site
Assisting in the reclaim value from the client whilst keeping a strong relationship
Day to day Quantity Surveying duties across the project
Experience required for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:
Experience working on Civil Engineering and Water schemes
Worked as Commercial Assistant or Assistant Quantity Surveyor previously
Worked on NEC or Brown book form of contract
Worked on schemes such as Drainage, Sewers, Water schemes and Tunnelling.
Experience working on Compensation events, claims and Value recovery
