Bayside Area Development Plan
A modern plan for the Bayside area is in the works. City Council gave the approval to start developing a long range, 20-year plan. Boundaries for this area are Morgan Avenue on the north, South Padre Island Drive (SH 358) on the south, Ocean Drive/Oso Bay on the east, and the Crosstown Expressway (SH 286) on the west. This plan will give guidance for future development in the area and identify opportunities to improve existing facilities.
Downtown Gateways Vision Plan
The City of Corpus Christi is working with the urban planning firm Asakura Robinson to develop the Downtown Gateways Vision Plan. This project is one of the City Manager’s budget initiatives for FY 19/20.
