Reading is a large town and borough in Berkshire and has a population of over 155,000 recorded in 2007 and lies 36 miles west of Central London. Reading has seen numerous large scale construction projects over the past couple of years and has multiple large constructions projects in the pipeline, such as:

Crossrail

Work on the Crossrail began in 2009 and was confirmed in 2014 that the £14.8bn project would extend to Reading. The project is set to be complete in 2019.

Station Hill

This £500m project will see 930,000 sq ft of office space, 150,000 sq ft of retail space and 300 residential units next door to Reading train station, which is the largest in the south east. Permission was granted in 2014 seeing the former dance hall demolished.
