Wastewater Engineer
Location: Markham, ON, CAN
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000

Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wastewater Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil or environmental engineering and experience in the design and management of wastewater treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the construction of wastewater treatment systems
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess system performance
- Develop and implement plans for the maintenance and repair of wastewater treatment systems
- Prepare technical reports and design documents
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns
- Stay current on industry regulations and guidelines related to wastewater treatment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain license within 12 months
- 6+ years of experience in wastewater treatment design and management
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Proficient in relevant computer software, such as AutoCAD and WaterCAD.
- Valid driver's license
