The Technical Coordinator Role:
Redrow Homes are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Coordinator to join their team based out of Tamworth. This is a full-time position and will support private housing developments across the Midlands.
Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will take responsibility for managing the technical process across approximately five live sites at any one time. The role will involve a mixture of office and site-based work, coordinating design information from post-planning through to completion and ensuring developments are delivered in line with company standards, building regulations and NHBC requirements.
You will be involved in critiquing layouts, assisting with the discharge of planning conditions (providing information to the internal planning team), attending site and project meetings and working closely with internal departments, consultants and site teams to resolve technical issues as they arise.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator position:
- Minimum of four years' experience working for a house builder
- Strong understanding of current Building Regulations
- Experience with NHBC conditions and sign-off processes
- Comfortable managing multiple sites simultaneously
- Experience critiquing layouts and supporting planning condition discharge
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Good communication skills with the ability to work across teams
