Senior Track Engineer
A multi-disciplined railway contractor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Track Engineer to support the delivery of complex track projects across the UK.
Can be based anywhere in the UK as site are national including occasional night and weekend work depending on project demands
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Track Engineer
- Scoping and defining track work activities, ensuring clarity, feasibility and compliance with relevant standards.
- Delivering high-quality 3D design work using GPS, Total Station and associated surveying technologies.
- Applying sound design knowledge (an appreciation level as a minimum) to support planning, assurance and delivery.
- Developing robust methodologies for heavy track works, including buildability and risk management.
- Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and engineering teams.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Supporting construction planning, possession management and technical approvals as required.
Senior Track Engineer Required Competencies & Experience
- 5-10 years experience with proven experience leading jobs
- Full competence in Level 4 Track Handback.
- Proven capability in Level 3 Stressing and stressing plans.
- Strong experience with tamping operations, including complex S&C and junction layouts.
- Experience in track and civil monitoring, including reporting and analysis of track geometry.
Salary: between £50,000 - £60,000 based on experience plus competitive package.
