Job Title: Senior Systems Safety Engineer
Location: Bristol Area, hybrid
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Navartis are happy to be working with a Bristol based Systems Specialist as they look to grow their team with a Senior Systems Safety Engineer.
As a Senior Systems Safety Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team and provide product assurance and safety management to meet aerospace / defence industry standards and regulations for both new and modified products, covering development.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Systems Safety Engineer:
Deliver against product assurance and engineering safety management requirements as an integral part of the project team
Production of System level Safety Cases, Generic Application Safety Cases, Specific Application Safety Cases to relevant standards
Hazard Identification workshop planning, managing, and reporting:
- System Hazard Analysis (SHA)
- Interface hazard Analysis (IHA)
- Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS)
- Operating and Support Hazard Analysis (OSHA)
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
As a Senior Systems Safety Engineer you will have:
Demonstrable experience producing safety assessment reports such as HAZID reports, Hazard reports and safety cases
Familiarity with ARP4754A, or DO178C/DO254 and ARP4761
Strong experience with engineering safety management, hazard identification, risk assessment and derivation of safety requirements
Ability to understand Common Safety Method for risk evaluation and assessment, regulatory guidance, client acceptance process, etc.
Qualified to degree-level in an Engineering discipline
Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
