Company Information:
A specialist in high-quality, bespoke civil and electrical engineering design, is looking for a Senior or principal Civil Design Engineer to join their team.
The Senior / Principal Engineer will perform a variety of functions in first principals of engineering deign. You will be a technical expert in civil engineering with chartered status and ideally a signed off Design CRE with experience in rail, structure, ancillary civils, highways or other infrastructure sectors.
The Senior / Principal Design Engineer shall lead on discipline specific design packages, which will include Technical Specifications, Performance Specifications, Written Reports (Design and Feasibility), preparation of design packs for interdisciplinary design checks / reviews, preparation of Approved for Construction design packages and also production of As-Built Information. mentoring and offering support to more junior designers will be expected also.
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Degree or Masters
- Chartered civil engineer (desirable if senior, essential if principal)
- Signed off CRE Design or with enough experienced to be mentored in sign off
Experience:
- Undertake first principals of engineering design
- Technical engineering mindset with a can do approach
- 6 years + experience in Civil engineering design
- Experience of structures, ancillary civils, highways or other infrastructure civils design
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers providing technical expertise and delivery on scopes of work.
