Senior Safety Assessor

Are you passionate about ensuring safety standards and keen on contributing to the certification processes of cutting-edge rail transportation systems? If so, then I have the position for you.

I'm currently looking for a highly qualified Senior Safety Assessor to join a dynamic team where you will work with technical project management and will be a main point of contact for clients. You will lead technical meetings with clients and the assessor team as well as take part in important meetings with safety authorities.

Besides working with CSM RA assessment and TSI verifications, you will support the project actively in reaching it's milestones and working closely with the Project managers to ensure the projects completion.

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct safety assessments for transportation systems, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify safety requirements and assess potential risks.
  • Develop safety plans, hazard logs, and safety cases to support certification processes.
  • Analyze safety documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes.
  • Provide expert advice on safety-related matters to internal teams and external clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in safety assessment, hazard analysis, and risk management for transportation systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the rail or transportation industry is a plus.
