Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to join a main contractor and work on an exciting rail project in central London
The company, one of the worlds largest geotechnical specialist contractors, specialises in the construction of dams, tunnels, transportation and water treatment.
Your role will be responsible for cost control, delivery of early warnings, procurement and the managing of contract between contractor and client.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager role:
- Forecast using first principles - labour, plant, materials and subcontract
- Articulate cost variances on a period basis
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
- Provide commercial support to the project team
- Procurement of instrumentation
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Strong experience with NEC3/4 specifically option C
- Strong experience and background with instrumentation monitoring
- Excellent knowledge and history of geotechnical procedures
- Self delivery experience is preferred
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- £450-550pd IR35 negotiable
- 6 month rolling contract
- Central London based
