Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 contractor and work on an exciting major Highways project in South Wales.

Your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes, capturing, and sharing knowledge across projects and enhancing our culture of innovation.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company.
- Report to Commercial Manager about the subcontract status.
- Assist senior staff in pricing variations – this will not just be mechanical and electrical scope.
- Cost control.
- Support the Commercial and Contract Managers with monthly project cost reports and progress reports.
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Previous NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4 option C)
- Demonstrable negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisation ability combined with good problem-solving skills.
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- £350-400 per day DOE.
- £45-60K per annum DOE.
