We are currently supporting our valued client in the search for an experienced Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager to join a major Flood Alleviation Scheme in Lowestoft.
This is a high-profile civil engineering project involving the construction of a new pumping station designed to prevent flooding in the local area. The works include significant civils and earthworks activity.
Although the initial contract is 12 months, there is approximately 2 years' worth of work, and this is expected to be a challenging job requiring someone highly capable and switched on.

Responsibilities
- Overall management of the flood alleviation works, including the pumping station build
- Managing NEC contracts and ensuring compliance
- Coordinating civils and earthworks activities
- Working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and the client team
- Driving programme, cost, quality, and safety on a challenging scheme
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager on civils projects
- Strong NEC contract experience (essential)
- Background in flood alleviation, pumping stations, or heavy civils
- Solid understanding of earthworks and infrastructure projects
- Able to operate autonomously in a demanding environment
