This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a Developer who specialises in mid rise and high rise projects in downtown Toronto.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction of a mid-rise and high-rise residential projects located around the Greater Toronto Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager role:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Oversee the selection and management of contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage and oversee the construction process, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, framing, and finishing
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications
- Manage project documentation and reporting, including progress reports, change orders, and budget updates
Experience required for this Senior Project Manager role:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-rise residential construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior project management role
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Canada
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and address issues as they arise
