Senior Planner - Construction
Location: East Midlands
Salary: Up to £80,000 plus benefits
The Opportunity..
Due to a number of recent contract awards, a leading tier 1 contractor is looking for a Senior Planner to join their Midlands team. This company has a full order book and has secured a number of large projects with public sector clients that will keep them busy for the next 3-5 years. Their portfolio includes a varied range of projects valued between £10m and £80m, including education, healthcare, commercial, residential/accommodation and MOD schemes.
What will they consider?
- An experienced Planner looking for a step up to Senior Planner.
- An established Senior Planner that is looking for a fresh challenge.
The Key Requirements..
- Main contracting background within building/construction.
- Must have a good amount of tender experience.
- A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject (not essential if you are an Engineer or Site Manager looking to transition).
- Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects (commercial, education, health, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
- Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
