Senior Design Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a main contractor in Dartford, London.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Design Engineer role:
· Responsible for all preparation of pile designs for tendering and contracts.
· Contract submissions of pile designs would include production of schedule and calculation pack.
· Able to coordinate and manage between inhouse design and external where this is utilised from time to time.
· Oversee and assist other engineers (estimator designers predominately; where design isn’t necessarily their primary job role).
· Review of tender drawings, specifications and ground conditions.
· Production of efficient designs for CFA, SFA, Rotary and Retaining walls and providing cost effective solutions. Such designs should consider the nuances between these piling techniques.
· Be confident to think outside the box and providing alternative solutions to clients for VE.
· Represent the company in meetings with clients.
· Assist with, or take the lead with closing out of design related Non-Conformances (NCR’s) or NCR which require design review as and when.
· Have the ability to coordinate with internal team and external client to overcome site issues.
Experience required for this Senior Design Engineer role:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in piling
· Geotechnical background
· Relevatant degree level qualification
