Senior Customer Service Representative
Location: Dunstable
I have an exciting opportunity for a driven, organised, and experienced Customer Service Representative to join a leading global provider of innovative services and products which increase the performance, reliability, and lifespan of industrial assets within the rail sector.
My client is looking for someone who has a seasoned background within manufacturing (rail not essential!) to join the team and hit the ground running.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Customer Service Representative role:
- Lead the day to day running of the customer services department
- Processing of customers' orders and requests, adding customer purchase orders onto Oracle JDE accounting system.
- Check product availability for customer orders and order/restock items if necessary to satisfy the customer.
- Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery.
- Management of proof of delivery.
- Management of files for audit and invoicing.
- Managing complex email inbox's - this can be extensive.
- Creating dangerous goods notes for hazardous products.
- Filing, scanning and management of incoming post.
Experience required for this Senior Customer Service Representative role:
- Ability to handle pressure and able to investigate and resolve customer complaints and resolve complaints quickly and patiently.
- Experience of managing complex email inboxes.
- Critical thinker
- Oracle JDE experience is an advantage (SAP or similar would be beneficial)
- Skilled in Microsoft software programs
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- A background within manufacturing - rail not essential.
