Rigger

We have a current opportunity for an experienced Rigger working in the telecoms sector on a permanent basis in the growing telecoms sector. The company is based near Reading, however you will be expected to regularly travel nationwide so the company are recruiting nationwide. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing telecoms equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Carrying out maintenance, repairs and installation activities of existing telecommunication systems at height.
- Ensuring activities are completed on accordance with all health and safety procedures ensuring all PPE and safety measures are adhered to.
- Reporting all procedures on site
- Inventory of stock to ensure equipment and tools are ready and safe to use.

Requirements:

- Experienced and commercially aware in the telecommunications industry.
- Great understanding of rigging standards and procedures .
- Experience working as a 2nd man Rigger (as part of a 2 man team).
- Experienced with the installation of telecoms equipment as a "2nd Man" (Feeders, antennas, MHA's and steel works).
- Commissioning experience (advantage but not essential).
- Clean driving licence.
- Must be prepared to regularly travel nationwide and stay away from home as required.

Qualifications (Candidate must have all the necessary qualifications):

- Advanced Climber, Working at Heights, Rescue from Towers, Rooftop Awareness, Radio Frequency Awareness, Emergency First Aid at Height, Winch Training and Asbestos Awareness.

Salary is £33,000 - £38,000, dependant on experience.
