Job Title: Resident Engineer
Location: Ipswich
Day rate: £400p/d - £450p/d outside IR35
Contract: 6 months initial contract - long-term work available
A fantastic opportunity for a Resident Engineer has arisen with a Principal Contractor to work on a Power and Energy project.
Key responsibilities for this Resident Engineer role:
- Overseeing the construction process and staff
- Liaising and communicating with the client
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to provide safe working practices
- Supervise subcontractors effectively
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Experience / qualifications required for this Resident Engineer role:
- Civil and M&E experience
- HV experience (preferable)
- Excellent risk mitigation & safety procedure adherence
