Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Major Utilities Project
Location: Reading & South East (Hybrid)
Salary: up to £75,000 p/annum + benefits (pension, health insurance, 25 days AL, travel reimbursement)
About the Role:
We are recruiting Quantity Surveyors to join a major utilities and infrastructure commission. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects worth £1m+, delivering essential improvements across the Thames Water network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre and post-contract commercial management
- Cost planning, budgeting, and tendering
- Managing subcontractor accounts and valuations
- NEC/JCT contract administration
- Risk management and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience on large infrastructure or utilities projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
- Ability to produce cost plans and manage budgets
- Ideally chartered or working towards chartership
