Quantity Surveyor - Worcester
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Worcester (office-based, projects within 1 hour)
About the Role:
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a respected residential developer in Worcester. You'll support the financial and contractual management of multiple housing developments across the Midlands, gaining exposure to all commercial aspects of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial functions on multiple residential schemes
-
Prepare budgets, cost plans, valuations, and reports
-
Procure subcontractors and support negotiations
-
Administer contracts, payments, and variations
-
Monitor costs and challenge overspend
-
Work with construction/technical teams to support delivery
-
Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships
Requirements:

HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)

Experience as Assistant QS or QS in residential construction
-
Commercial awareness and strong communication skills

Understanding of construction processes and standard contracts
-
Ambition to progress to Senior Quantity Surveyor

RICS/CIOB membership (or working towards) desirable
