Quantity Surveyor

A leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services working within the Infrastructure, Environment, Building & Real Estate and Advisory sectors is looking for a reliable, flexible and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Maidstone, Kent

As a member of Infrastructure, you will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance of being independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player.

Responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor:

  • Applications for payment

  • Identify, notify and price change

  • Managing cost control and financial aspects of key projects

  • Providing expert advice on contractual claims and final accounts

  • Conducting new award / contract reviews

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success

Skills and experience of the successful Quantity Surveyor:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant construction, engineering or property discipline

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, minimum 3+ years post-degree experience

  • Must have NEC3/4 contract experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)

Salary / Benefits : £40,000 - £55,000 dependant on level of experience plus package including:
