About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll join the Commercial Team, supporting the delivery of major water and wastewater capital projects. You will work closely with delivery teams, ensuring robust commercial and financial management, accurate reporting, and strong cost control across multiple programmes. This role is pivotal in driving value, minimising risks, and supporting long-term infrastructure resilience.

Key Requirements
-
Administer commercial and financial aspects of the Capital Delivery Framework.

Provide commercial support to delivery management and site teams.
-
Assist the estimating team to prepare robust estimates aligned to project scope.

Support procurement strategy and subcontract preparation.

Deliver accurate forecasting and cost reporting.

Monitor and assess actual costs vs. estimates, identifying variances and resolutions.

Ensure compliance with contractual arrangements and maintain accurate records.

Issue contractual notifications in line with NEC contracts.
Experience Required
-
Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with strong QS/commercial management experience.

Previous experience within civil engineering, utilities, or water infrastructure.

Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable Knowledge / Skills
-
Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contract administration.

Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills.

Experience in live forecasting, cost reporting, and audit compliance.
