This reputable Irish construction consultancy offer a full range of services from cost management to sustainability advice. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role will be based in their Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities
· Providing pre-contract cost management guidance and advice to both Design Teams and Clients.
· Preparation of pre-contract documents.
· Undertaking all post-contract activities, including interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, and final account reconciliations across a diverse range of projects.
· Supervising the training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors within the team structure.
· Handling Estimating & Cost Planning responsibilities directly for Clients.
· Creation of Bills of Quantities.
· Compilation of Contract Documentation.
· Preparation of Cost Reports and Monthly Valuations.
· Negotiation and Agreement of Final Accounts.
· Assessment and resolution of contractual claims.
· Participation in meetings with Clients and Design Team Members.
· Providing training and fostering development opportunities.
Key Requirements
· 3rd level degree in the relevant discipline
· Graduates with work experience/ Quantity surveyors with 2+ years' experience in Ireland are encouraged to apply
· Commercial awareness, flexibility, and ambition to advance within the organization.
· Drive and determination to effectively manage tight budgets, ensuring the commercial success of projects.
· Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Package offered
· Starting salary from €55,000 - €70,000, depending on experience
