Quality Systems Coordinator / Advisor - Rail
Location: Chesterfield , Derbyshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 plus package.
Summary
A multi-disciplinary railway turnkey business, capable of undertaking a wide variety of rail projects, from solution recommendations to complete design and construction is looking to take a Quality Systems Coordinator to support the business by controlling documentation which directly or indirectly forms part of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities will include
- Managing, maintaining and improving the QMS system, ensuring all programs, policies and procedures are up to date and in line with business best practice, compliant and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring the system and documentation conforms to ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015
- Review, formatting and updating documents to ensure they meet company standards
- Responsibility for planning and managing the internal audit schedule
- Schedule, manage and chair review meetings for quality, environmental
- Support cross functional departments with their compliance and performance measures for quality and environmental
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Maintain the database with accurate information
Seeking candidates with;
- Experience working in similar role within the rail / construction sector
- Quality Assurance experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills and a good attention to detail
- An understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Knowledge of document management systems is desirable
- Prior experience in auditing quality management systems (desirable)
