Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Ipswich
Day rate: £450 - £500p/d outside IR35 all in rate
Contract: 6 months initial contract - long-term work available
A fantastic opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor has arisen to operate for a Principal Contractor on a Power and Energy project.
This Project Quantity Surveyor role will be to support our site teams in commercial matters by undertaking various duties including:
- Preparing and submitting monthly valuations to our clients
- Procuring and managing subcontract packages working alongside the site team
- Producing project cost and revenue forecasts each month for the Commercial Manager/Senior QS
- Managing change control by identifying, notifying, tracking and valuing variations
- Providing commercial advice to the site team as required
Experience / qualifications required for this Project Quantity Surveyor role:
- Experience operating in the Electricity Supply Industry on MEP/Civil packages
- NEC
- You are keen to take responsibility and manage the commercial direction of your project
- You can demonstrate a suitable breadth and depth of experience in a similar role
- You are working towards or already have a good industry specific degree or equivalent
