Project Planner
Company: Tier 1 contractor / Building
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
Benefits: Car allowance plus comprehensive benefits package
The Opportunity..
A leading tier 1 contractor is looking for a Project Planner to work on a mix of tenders and live projects in the North West. They have a full order book and work with a mix of public and private sector clients, with a regional turnover approaching £200m. Projects range from £10m to £100+m and currently include healthcare (P23), retail/mixed use developments, university work and various commercial schemes.
Key requirements for the Project Planner position..
- Main contracting background within building/construction sector.
- A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject software.
- Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects upwards of £10m.
- Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
Ideal Locations..
The ideal candidate will live in the Manchester / Cheshire / Merseyside areas.
