Project Manager - Electrical
Location: Scotland
I have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrically bias Project Manager to join a leading rail company who offer bespoke electrical engineering solutions across the UK to the rail electrification and electrical supply industries.
The company has grown to include many key employees and has a wide range of knowledge throughout the team gained from first-hand experience working with clients in both light and heavy rail.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day coordination for all aspects of the company's projects, leading a small team of engineers on specific projects as directed by the Director.
Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:
- Successfully undertake the role of Project Manager on specific projects as required.
- Undertake the role of Line Manager in respect of Assistant Project Manager.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure technical specifications are issues as required for clients and sub-contractors.
- Liaise with the design team to prepare project equipment schedules, drawings, and diagrams to promote ease of installation and operation of the system.
- Undertake bid preparation as directed by the directors.
- Attend weekly project review meetings with the PSP Management Team to review progress and set targets in accordance with the overall programme
- Ensure Engineering team members under your control are fully briefed, competent and in control of project activities
- Work with the HSEQ Manager to ensure activities meet statutory HS&E regulations (Y01-AA-REG-0014 Legislative Acts & Compliance Obligations)
Experience required for this Project Manager role:
- An electrically bias background.
- Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-soling skills.
- Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Excel, and other relevant applications.
Package offered for this role:
- Salary £45,000- £50,000
- Car/Car Allowance & Fuel Card
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm, Fridays 8am - 2pm
- 33 days annual leave per year inc BH's
- Pension Scheme
- Life Insurance 4x Salary
