Principal Consultant Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Camunda BPM platform using Java, Spring Framework, and JavaServer Faces (JSF) for web development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business requirements for process automation and workflow management.
- Design and implement process models, workflows, decision tables, and forms with Camunda Modeler.
- Develop custom plugins, extensions, and integrations using Java and REST API to enhance platform functionality.
- Monitor performance and health of Camunda infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and middleware technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Camunda applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure data integrity and security through backups, disaster recovery planning, and regular maintenance.
- Deploy and test Camunda-based solutions across various environments, collaborating with development teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide end-user support and training.
- Stay updated on Camunda BPM platform releases and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
Principal Consultant Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Camunda Administrator or similar role, proficient with Camunda BPM platform version 8.
- Strong knowledge of Camunda BPM platform architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
- Experience in designing and implementing process models, workflows, decision tables, and forms using Camunda Modeler or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Java programming language and experience with Spring Framework and JavaServer Faces (JSF) for web application development.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and React, and experience in developing custom plugins, extensions, and integrations using Java and REST API.
- Solid understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and middleware technologies (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss) used in conjunction with Camunda, including performance monitoring, tuning, and optimisation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies, with Camunda certification or training being desirable.
