Principal Ecologist

Location: Perth or Glasgow with Hybrid Working

Summary

A fast growing Environmental Consultancy specialising in ecology, hydrology, contaminated land, construction sector support and arboricultural advice has is looking to take on an Principal Ecologist to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works.

Responcibilities

Providing and setting high standards of scoping, survey design, survey capability and factual, interpretative, advisory, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Shadow Habitat Regulation Assessment (sHRA), legal/licensing reporting output, adhering to deadlines and working in an accurate, timely and effective manner.

Be a source of expert advice in respect of one or more technical and/or business sector specialisms and will be named as a licensee or licensee's agent on protected species derogation ('mitigation') licences.

Ensuring the team effectively manage sub-contractors and quality check that the work and deliverables are undertaken/provided to the standard required by Gavia Environmental Limited.

Playing an active part in attracting new clients and generating new business for the company. Increasingly may be allocated role as a key point of contact for one or more especially valued Clients.

Salaries & Package

Salaries in the range of £45,000 - £55,000 dependent upon experience
