Due to continued success they are currently looking for a planner to join their team.

Responsibilities of this Planner Role

  • Prepare Contract/Project Programmes and provide ongoing Monthly Reporting of progress.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, encompassing all construction phases.
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish realistic timelines and milestones.
  • Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
  • Prepare and present programmes and schedules for bids and tenders.
  • Regularly monitor and update project schedules to reflect changes in scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Analyze project progress against the schedule, offering insights to the project team.
  • Implement strategies to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and team members to gather information for schedule development.
  • Communicate schedule-related information to stakeholders and promptly address concerns or issues.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that enhances effective project execution.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Anticipate potential delays and develop contingency plans.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project schedules, progress, and potential issues.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Requirements for this Planner Role.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a planner role within Ireland or the UK
  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or strong trades background coupled with technical ability will be considered
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

  • Salary Up to €70k DOE

  • Office hours are 8.30am – 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 16.00 Friday. 1 hour lunch break.
  • Flexibility around remote working
