We have an exciting opportunity for a Rigger and Microwave Commissioner (2-man team) on a permanent basis in a growing mobile telecoms sector. The main base is located near to Manchester, but the ability to work nationwide is also key.
This client is ideally looking for a rigging team (Tx Commissioner & a Tx Rigger) that are already working together / have worked together in the past.
Role (Tx Commissioner):
- Installing, testing and commissioning transmission equipment for clients / vendors / operators as per specification and in accordance with both quality and H&S protocols.
- Delivering on program requirements and communicating results effectively with the project manager to ensure requirements and standards of these requirements are met.
- Supplying site completion paperwork.
- Be competent and compliant with SHEQ Management System.
Requirements (Tx Commissioner):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- FETAC Level 6 in a technical discipline (equivalent working experience will also be considered)
- Fluency in English language both written and verbal
- Full Drivers License
- Experience with Huawei, NSNM E//, Siae and Ceragon equipment (Preferable)
- Relevant health and safety accreditation (SafePass, RTE, ESB, Garda Clearance, Climbing)
- Proven track record of MW install works 10GHz - 80GHz band.
- Vendor certification with certificates (to be attached to the CV).
- Competence in XPIC 2+0 installations.
- Compliant with PPE, correct use of safety equipment and usage of tools and equipment and following security protocols.
Salary (Tx Commissioner):
- £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on experience)
